AvaTrade Code 128979: What It Really Does

I get asked about partner codes constantly. Usually the same question: do they give you free trades or discounted spreads?

Nope. AvaTrade charges zero commission on forex. You pay the spread. That's the cost. A partner code doesn't change that.

The code 128979 activates the bonus program. Additional trading capital depending on your deposit. Nothing more complicated than that.

How much do you get?

A $1,000 deposit gets you $200.

$2,000 gets you $400.

$5,000-$9,999 earns you $1,000 bonus.

Top tier is $14,000 on deposits over $100,000. That's for serious capital.

UK accounts start at £160 for £800 deposited. Goes to £11,200 at the top.

Account minimum is $100. Bonus requires $1,000 minimum.

The field is hidden

Registration page. Below the phone field, there's a small link saying "Have a Partner Code?". Click on that text. A field drops down. Type **128979**.

People overlook it constantly because it's hidden.

Sometimes it shows as invalid, don't worry. Complete your registration. Contact support before funding. Ask them to add code 128979. They do this manually all the time.

Bonus withdrawal conditions

You need to trade a certain volume.

Roughly 10,000 units traded per $1 bonus. You'd need to trade 2,000,000 units to unlock a $200 bonus. Takes a while if you trade small. Active traders hit it quicker than expected.

The deposit belongs to you. Withdraw it whenever you want. Only the bonus has the restriction.

Something useful to understand: locked bonus funds still contribute to your margin. Allows for slightly larger trades. Newer traders benefit from that extra cushion.
